We realize Lacrosse is a great financial commitment. We have come up with a couple of ways we hope will help offset the cost of playing lacrosse. Please take a look at the fundraising information included in the packet given to your son today. One of the letters is a personal appeal that players can send to friends and family. You'll also find Bruins Bonanza auction information. For every item you successfully solicit for Ballard Lacrosse, your player fees will drop by $5. Also, we have included information on team sponsorship and spirit wear order forms. Please remember that Ballard does not underwrite any team costs. The Boosters pay for assistant coaching staff salaries and training, the overflow money needed for North Carolina, referee costs ($100 ea) for every home game, field maintenance, and provides buses for all out-of-town travel ($300-$660), depending on the city we go to. Please make every effort to do your part for Lacrosse this year! Ballard was the NUMBER ONE public school team in the state last year. In order for our players to continue this tradition of success, we need help from every family!
