- First official practice is Wednesday at 4:30 (until about 6:30) at Ballard. Dress in layers, bring all equipment and water! Practice is not optional!-it really is time to get serious, and plan on attending EVERY weekday, through May.
- I came home this afternoon to several e-mails asking the same question (which means I left out something very important somewhere along the way!!) My apologies... Your player fees ($200 due Jan, $200 due Feb 24) go towards uniforms, home game admission, salaries and ALL TEAM TRIPS (bus & lodging, including the small buses we have rented for all Lexington games.) Players will only need to bring money for one lunch and one dinner on this trip (unless they want to buy a shirt in Knoxville). I'll be sending home some paperwork with players after practice one night next week. We'll need signatures and a photocopy of your player's primary insurance card. This paperwork should answer most of your questions regarding this trip. Always feel free to contact me with concerns or questions-don't apologize-that's why I'm here! Jamey Spielberg
- There are 2 different camps that I have received information for. One is Gamebreaker Lacrosse (through Stickhead), being held June 11-14 at KCD. The other is a new camp, Revolution Lacrosse, being held July 8-12 in Asheville. Dan Cocchi is the headline coach. More info on both camps can be DOWNLOADED HERE.
- Knoxville Festival T-shirts will be sold for $12, if players wish to purchase one while there.
- Paul Diemer underwent ACL Reconstruction surgery Thursday to correct an injury he suffered early in the Buckner season. His parents report that Paul's surgery went well. The Booster Club is sending a surprise to Paul, with well-wishes from the Team, Coaches and Parents.
- The Faulkner family has some brand new equipment that they would like to sell for less than half of what they paid. Interested players/parents can contact the Faulkners.
