On March 16, Ballard Men's Lacrosse will be traveling to Indianapolis, and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Fishers. Continental Breakfast is included. There are numerous restaurants (including Ruby Tuesdays, Panda Express and Indiana burger joint "Culvers") as well as shopping and a movie theater located within walking distance.
A motor coach bus will be taking the Team to Indy. It is mandatory for players to ride the bus. This is due to safety concerns. (We don't want the boys to drive!) Paperwork will be sent home with players the week prior to the trip, with signatures needed for player behavior/parental consent. (Please note that our travel policy states that any player caught doing anything illegal, including alcohol/drug/tobacco consumption will be sent home at parents' expense and permanently barred from the Team.)
Players should bring money for misc. expenses, including one lunch and one dinner. The Team will arrive back at Ballard on March 17. We'll give you a time to meet the bus at Ballard and your player's room assignment as we get closer to the date.
A limited number of King w/sofa bed non-smoking and double bed smoking rooms have been held for parents at the group rate ($89 + tax). You must reserve a room prior to March 1st for this price. Parents should call (317) 578-2000 and say you're with Ballard Men's Lacrosse. If our block of rooms is all booked when you call there are other options, including Holiday Inn (next door) and Hilton Garden Inn (across the street). Go to www.dorahotels.com
All parents provide their own transportation. We may set up some sort of convoy! It takes a bit over 2 hours to get to Fishers. The hotel is about 3 miles from the fields. I'll be sending out directions the week before departure.
Last year, Ballard had the privilege of hosting Hamilton SE. These players and their families were friendly, polite guests. Let's leave them with a similar impression of us!
More information regarding other trips will be coming soon!
 Go Bruins!!!!!!!!
