Thursday, 10/18: Any seniors needing Beta Club hours can volunteer at the Lacrosse table that will be set up at Open House from 7-9 in the large gym. Any one interested can come and speak to potential new players to help recruit the next generation of Ballard Lacrosse Stars. Coach needs two players to loan their helmets and gloves to display. Also, anyone with a small combo TV/VCR that could be used to show game tape please contact coach ASAP.
Sat/Sun 10/20-21: Coach will be playing in a tournament at EP Sawyer State Park (same location as Fall Brawl). There will be men's college and post-college teams from Ohio, Ky, and TN. Anyone interested in watching some "advanced level" players (ie old and slow, but very tricky) should come out and watch some games. Tournament runs from 11-3 on Saturday and 11-1 on Sunday.
Freshmen: The best indoor league for Freshmen is the Buckner indoor organization sponsored by the KY Lacrosse Association. Registration for freshmen indoor will begin soon on www.active.com. First week of games will be 11/15. Information can be found onwww.kylax.org; I would suggest freshmen players get together to coordinate playing on the same team for this league, and to work out transportation to/from Oldham Co.

JV: Mockingbird JV Indoor competition will be on Thursday nights, beginning on Thurs Nov 2nd. Registration for JV/Div II indoor is now open online at www.stickheadusa.com. Please advise me when you have registered so I know who is playing. JV players should speak with either Kinney or Reifert about who will be playing in goal. Without a goalie, we have no team.
